The rectangular stepped top above a pair of doors depicting scenes with noble warriors on horseback within a frame decorated with eagles and foliage, the sides inlaid with central jewelled motifs within scrolling foliage and fitted with handles, revealing an interior fitted with twelve drawers arranged around a pair of cupboard doors concealing further drawers, the interior profusely inlaid with hunting scenes, courtly figures, musicians, animals and architectural landscapes, the later stepped top with pierced fret mounts; the bone-inlaid, walnut, rosewood and ebonised later base with a foliate frieze, on spirally turned legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher centred by a star motif
