CASE: the lyre-shaped case with espagnolette sunburst mask to top, the frame with foliate swag and inner beaded border, flanked by eagle heads suspending bells, and olive branches to lower section, on white marble oval base DIAL: the skeletonised dial with sunburst and paste-set border, white enamel chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic quarters, pierced gilt-brass hands MOVEMENT: twin-barrel swinging movement with a pin wheel escapement and count wheel strike to bell
