《向特纳致敬( 平息的风暴)》为唐海文受特纳启发而创作的一件重要大尺寸作品。1980年，同一时期，唐海文也画了一系列小件的水彩作品向这位英国大师致敬。《向特纳致敬( 平息的风暴)》曾经在众多美术馆展出，包含唐海文2002年巴黎吉美美术馆的回顾展，也在「墨之道」这本画册出版。
