Designed as a pearl ribbon bow, set at the center with a bezel-set old European-cut diamond, within a single-cut diamond plaque, suspending a detachable pearl tassel, trimmed with an old European and single-cut diamond fringe, mounted in platinum, circa 1910
With report 1162555361 dated 26 August 2014 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the pearls in the tassel are predominantly saltwater pearls, with no indications of treatment. One bead is a cultured pearl. Due to the mounting, only the pearls in the tassel have been tested
