A CELADON-GLAZED CARVED BRUSH POT
CHINA, QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The sides well carved with three horned chilong with long undulating bodies and incised manes striding against a background of dense peony scroll between narrow borders of incised classic scroll at the rims, all under a glaze of soft sea-green color in contrast to the white rim and the pale blue tint of the transparent glaze on the interior, and in the countersunk center of the unglazed base
