拍品专文

The choice of huanghuali with a particularly attractive grain, evident on the beautifully matched panel doors, distinguishes the present chest as an especially desirable example of its type. Compare two similar huanghuali chests, dated to the 18th century, in the Liang Yi Collection, illustrated by C. Evarts in Liang Yi Collection: Small Objects, Hong Kong, 2007, pp. 104-5, nos. 55-6.
