The S-curved body is raised on a flaring pedestal foot, and is encircled below the everted rim with ten circular bosses, which are interrupted by the pair of C-shaped handles surmounted by animal masks. An inscription cast in the interior reads Ji hou ya (yi) Fu Ji (Marquis Ji. Ya (yi). Father Ji). The patina is of a dark grey color with some malachite encrustation.
10 in. (15.4 cm.) wide across the handles, wood cover with a Ming dynasty jade finial
