A VERY RARE WAISTLESS HUANGHUALI FLUSH CORNER-LEG SIDE TABLE, SIMIANPING
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The table is of 'four-corners flush' form, with single-panel top set within the wide rectangular frame above a plain beaded apron and beaded stretchers issuing from cloud-form spandrels and framing upright simplified ruyi heads, all raised on similarly beaded legs of square section terminating in hoof feet.
33 1/8 in. (84.1 cm.) high, 38 ½ in. (97.8 cm.) wide, 20 ¾ in. (52.7 cm.) deep
