The short height and short collars, as well as the type of jade of this cong indicate an origin in northwest China. For a similar cong see The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China - 4 - Shandong, Beijing, 2005, p. 157, from Qianzhangda, Tengzhou, Shandong province.
