The present textile painting represents a central Jina within a lotus form mandala and Om-Hrim yantra, is the combined seed syllable of the universe. The borders comprise various Jain deities and images. Compare the work to another Jain mandala, depicting Parsvanatha, sold at Christie's New York 17 September 1999, lot 56 for $36,800 and more recently a similar textile depicting life stories of Parsvanatha, sold at Christie's New York, 27 September 2023, lot 527 for $18,900.
