signed and numbered 'max ernst 4⁄8' (on the top of the base); inscribed with foundry mark and stamped 'Susse Frères Paris RESYRGAM' (on the side of the base)
bronze with dark brown and green patina
Height: 34 ½ in. (87 cm.)
Conceived circa 1938-1939; this bronze version cast circa 1992-1993
