2February 1955 date letter handwritten on his personal stationary has been signed “Sincerely Ty Cobb” and in addition he wrote his “T.R.C.” initials after a postscript. Content relates to the Cobb family name, and he writes his last name three additional times within this portion. He goes on the discuss his father who “coached and trained also inspired the finest Masonic team of which was evidently known.” Within the postscript (“P.S.” section of the letter) he references his oldest son writing “Tyrus R. Cobb Jr.” essentially creating an additional autograph.
