A VICTORIAN ENAMELED GOLD-MOUNTED BLOODSTONE DOUBLE DESK SEAL CIRCA 1840 Formed as an armored arm and mailed fist decorated with scrolls and flowers in blue and white enamel, with uncarved matrix to either end, one in bloodstone the other in lapis lazuli, indistinctly marked on rim with later French control mark for foreign items in use after 1864 3 5⁄8 in. (9.2 cm.) long
