The A. Lange & Söhne Cabaret represents a confident expression of the manufacture’s spirit of innovation and horological excellence. The Cabaret marked a daring break from the conventional round case by adopting a unique rectangular design. It is further characterised by the prominent display of Lange’s signature outsize date, inspired by the historic clock of Dresden’s Semper Opera House.
The Cabaret collection was created as a time-only model in a range of precious metals and dial configurations and debuted at Baselworld in 1997. The present example, reference 107.032, was first presented in 1998 and inspired by the diamond-shaped indexes of early Saxonia models and the refined Roman numerals of the Lange 1.
The watch's manually wound calibre L.931.3, which operates at a frequency of 3 Hz and has a power reserve of roughly 42 hours, is an example of the manufacturer's dedication to both technical accuracy and elegant finishing.
