THE HOUSE OF CUSI: FROM ANNIBALE CUSI TO THE PRESENT DAY
Cusi of Milan, located at 21 Via Montenapoleone, was established in 1885 by Annibale Cusi. The firm gained early recognition when Cusi was awarded the Gran Premio at the 1906 Milan World Fair for his creation of the Maria Stuarda necklace, crafted from an innovative lightweight alloy of his own invention. In 1915, he was appointed supplier to the Italian Royal Family, as well as to the Duke of Aosta and the Count of Turin. Following Annibale Cusi’s death in 1930, the business remained within the family, passing successively to his son Rinaldo and his grandson Roberto. Today, it is led by Giorgio Nicola Cusi together with his children.
