Fresh to market and from the original owner, the present Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800⁄1 features a heavy and luxe 18k gold construction that is further complemented by the blue-black ribbed dial.
Reference 3800
The reference 3800 was in production from 1981 until 2006, and was available in a wide array of configurations with differences found in dial colors, case materials, and diamond embellishment options. It was a mid-sized version of the original 'Jumbo' Nautilus reference 3700 and carried the same design aesthetics, but in a 37.5 millimeter case, rather than the original 42 millimeter size. Additionally, the watch has a sweeping center seconds hand made possible by the introduction of the Patek Philippe caliber 335 SC.
