拍品专文

The subtle network of inherent markings suggestive of sea spray seen on the present snuff bottle appears in other bottles of related material, such as the extremely pale amethyst example in the J & J Collection, illustrated in H. Moss et al., The Art of the Chinese Snuff Bottle, The J & J Collection, vol. I, New York, 1993, p. 175, no. 96, and subsequently sold in Important Chinese Snuff Bottles from the J & J Collection, Part 1; Christie’s Hong Kong, 25 April 2004, lot 829.
