拍品专文

The field is dominated by three columns of eight large, straight-sided octagonal gölli guls which are filled with a palette of apricot, sapphire-blue and sea-green. The box border of the present rug, which is reminiscent of Salor main carpets, appears on two 18th century Ersari main carpets of archaic design, gifted by Simon Crosby to the Ashmolean museum, Oxford, (EA2014.8 and EA2014.8).
