A Treasured History: The Stream Family Collection tells the story of two remarkable women, Matilda Geddings Gray and her niece, Matilda Gray Stream. Their shared vision shaped one of the most extraordinary private collections of the 20th century. Assembled over decades and preserved within one family until now, this important group comes to auction for the first time. It brings together one of the finest museum-quality Fabergé collections in the world, alongside exceptional jewels from houses such as Cartier and Tiffany & Co., many unseen for generations. Highlights include exquisite hardstone flower studies by Fabergé, a silver tea service designed by Paulding Farnham and works by Diego Rivera, Edgar Degas, William-Adolphe Bouguereau and Jose Francisco Xavier de Salazar y Mendoza.

Defined by a legacy of connoisseurship and close ties to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Stream Family Collection represents a rare blend of history, artistry and personal vision.
