The silk is similar to silk in the Warner collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum (T.374 - 1972,etc.)

An open robe of ivory satin, brocaded with sprigs of blue, pink and yellow buds framed in a sub-pattern lockets hung from swags of leaves - English, circa 1775, the silk possibly by Batchelor, Ham and Perigal of Spital Square
