Guido Panerai & Figlio, founded in 1860 in Florence, produced precision instruments for the Italian Navy. In 1936 the company, later renamed Officine Panerai, launched the first prototype of a diver's watch. The 'Radiomir Panerai' was made for the 'Torpedo Riders', a secret commando of the Italian Navy.

The present lot, is number 45 of a limited edition of 200 pieces, produced for Sylvester Stallone's film, Daybreak. The Slytech Panerai features Stallone's engraved signature on the back of the case.
