With rebrowned Continental twist barrels formed with raised longitudinal ribs, and with silver fore-sight, patent breeches each with two gold lines and gold-lined touch-hole, engraved grooved tang, signed border engraved flat locks each with roller, rainproof pan, and 'French' cock, the steel-springs each adjustable for tension (some surface pitting, mainly in the pans), figured walnut half-stock (minor chips and bruises, old inset repair on the left side of the barrel tang), chequered grip, engraved iron mounts including scroll trigger-guard, trigger-plate with pineapple finial, and later horn-tipped ramrod with worm
