Le fasce laterali della pianeta qui presentata sono simili ad una texture di anfore ben delineate, profilate e campite da fiori tripartiti riferibili al decoro del rivestimento di un cofanetto reliquario che si trova al tesoro della Basilica di San Francesco di Assisi. La fascia centrale è identica al disegno di una pianeta che si trova a Siracusa a Palazzo Bellomo.
