An American bulkhead mounted clock and barometer set
Seth Thomas, (American 19th & 20th centuries)
The clock with a 4 in. (10.2 cm.) diameter steel dial with black Arabic numerals, signed Seth Thomas above the 6, and a slow/fast regulator below the twelve, blackened steel hands, within a nickle plated casement with a screw face. The barometer with a 4 in. (10.2 cm.) diameter steel dial, the face marked with "Holosteric Barometer", the barometric scale marked on the upper half of the face and a fahrenheit thermometer on the lower half of the face. The barometer is an aneroid type and the coil can be seen at the center, within a nickle plated casement with a screw face. Both are mounted on individual mahogany mantle stands.
5½ in. (14 cm.) overall diameter of each.
