According to the Archives of Montres Omega, the present watch with stainless steel and 14K gold-capped case was manufactured in 1957 and delivered to Venezuela.

It stands out by the highly unusual dial, featuring a pulsation scale with Latin inscription and the rod of Asclepius, symbol of medicine, a layout until today only known from a black and white archival image (Courtesy of the Omega Museum). The present watch is furthermore preserved in very good original overall condition.
