signed 'HELEN BRADLEY' and with a fly (lower right), signed again, inscribed and dated 'They sang Carols in front of Judson's shop because/it was New Year's Eve and the Band came and/played the New Year Songs and Carols, and because/we all loved the beginning of another year/Mother let George and I stay up and join in the/singing, Grandma and The Aunts came across/and so did Miss Carter (who wore Pink) Mr Taylor/(the Bank Manager) escorted the Ladies back to Grandma's/while George and I went to bed, but we all met/again at Grandma's for New Year's Dinner which was/Roast Goose and Lemon Trifle and thus began the year/1907/Helen Layfield Bradley 1971' (on a label attached to the reverse)
