Claudia Makowski (1912-1986)
La mère de Claudia Makowski était lingère à Montmartre. Elle se saignait aux quatre veines pour l'envoyer à l'école où Claudia rencontra une jeune danseuse antillaise, qui était la fille de la gouvernante de Jules Pincas, dit Pascin. Elle entra dans le cercle de ses familiers et de Lucy Krogh. Plus tard, elle posa pour André Derain, Moïse Kisling, Nils von Dardel, Oskar Kokoschka, Léonard-Tsuguharu Foujita et, bien sûr, Pascin. Passionnée de peinture, elle devint galeriste, puis collectionna avec goût et discernement.
