Peter Beard's work of 1960, for The End of the Game, features one of his most sought-after subjects -- the cheetahs. His largest print ever to be presented at auction, this work contains the most iconic of the Peter Beard signature elements: from the inclusion of a poem by Karen Blixen with portrait, to personal photos and inscriptions, to more random treasures and trophies (such as rose quartz crystal and an aluminium can), the work is framed with a river of blue paint and the artist's own blood, his famous finishing touch.
