Yellow-glazed dishes with Hongzhi marks include an example illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istanbul, vol. II, London, 1986, p. 447, no. 774 (also a similar yellow-glazed Hongzhi-marked bowl, op. cit., no. 773); one in the Victoria and Albert Museum, illustrated by D. Lion-Goldschmidt, La Porcelain Ming, Fribourg, 1978, pl. 113; and a pair sold at Christie's New York, 21 September 2000, lot 303.
