粉彩八吉祥紋盌　　六字篆書款

This pattern first appeared on bowls of the Qianlong period and continued to be produced during successive reign periods. A drawing of this design is illustrated by Geng Baochang, Authentication of Ming and Qing Porcelain, Beijing/Hong Kong, 1993, p. 318, fig. 533. A similar pair originally from the Yangzhitang Collection was sold at Christie's Singapore, 30 March 1997, lot 265; and another pair from the collection of Taji Shuichi was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 1 December 2010, lot 3210.
