QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

A larger (14.2 cm.), though similarly carved white jade figure of a recumbent duck grasping a spray of peony in its beak, from the collection of Alan and Simone Hartman, was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 27 November 2007, lot 1563, where it was dated to the Kangxi period.
