According to the Archives of Montres Piaget, the present watch was made in 1970.

It is an impressive model of an "Esclave" model, part of the "Manchette" collection launched in the early 1970s. These watches were distinguished by their large bracelets, forming a cone when worn, and the unusual dial materials.
