Château Suduiraut--Vintage 2000
Preignac (Sauternes), 1er cru classé. Château-bottled Notes of orange and apricot jam emerge from the elegant, medium gold-colored 2000. The wine shows good ripeness, medium to full body, plenty of sweetness, and more character and soul than most 2000 Sauternes. An excellent effort. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2020.
