THE FRENCH CONNECTION The following lots represent classic French items of furniture from Normandy that have long had appeal for many types of Interiors. Usually made of cherry, chestnut, oak or beech, the ubiquitous armoire, draw-leaf table and harvest table are familiar forms, but the fine buffet a deux corps is less common and the food cupboard with open shelf below is quite unusual.
