With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with gilted dial, 12 gold indexes and yellow gold bracelet in 1977 and its subsequent sale on 10 April 1978.
This watch, a reference 3445/6, was originally fitted with an integral bracelet, thus distinguishing it from a ref. 3445. The integral bracelet was removed upon special request by the owner at a later date, who also asked Patek Philippe to add the current facetted lugs in order to wear the watch with a strap.
