A tughra is a stylized calligraphic motif, usually a name. This example is attributed to a Kashmiri calligrapher and gives the name of Sayyid Riza 'Ali Khan, Sahib Bahadur. There is a calligram in mirror writing probably by the same calligrapher in the Denver Art Museum.
