The first with round barrel with brass-lined touch-hole, flat bevelled lock engraved with scrollwork and with brass cock, walnut three-quarter stock with applied brass panels around the lock and fish-tail butt, the butt with an exposed panel on each side inlaid with scrollwork in brass wire, three brass barrel-bands, and later ramrod (some corrosion marking to iron parts); the second with three-stage swamped sighted barrel chiselled with panels and bands of flowering foliage, figured three-quarter stock (fore-end replaced) with applied steel panels beneath the breech, and foliate engraved trigger (barrel decoration worn)
