Juz' VI, Arabic manuscript on paper, 20ff. plus one fly-leaf, each with 9ll. of black naskh script, with gold, blue and black rosette verse markers, marginal section markers in gold thuluth script outlined in black, opening folio with juz' title in white thuluth script outlined in black on gold ground within gold and blue illuminated cartouches, with similarly illuminated shamsa, the black cursive naskh script waqf inscription giving the name of Sultan Abu al-Nasr, final verse in thuluth script within an illuminated roundel, in Mamluk gilt and stamped morocco binding with flap

"Sultan Abu al-Nasr" as it appears in a marginal note on the first folio can refer to three Mamluk sultans, all rulers of the 15th century; al-Malik al-Ashraf Barsbay (r. 1422-38), al-Malik al-Ashraf Inal (r. 1453-61) or al-Malik al-Ashraf Qaitbay (r. 1468-94).
