CIRCA 1720-40, THE FIRST PROBABLY BRISTOL, THE SECOND BRISTOL OR LONDON
The first of 'Farmyard' type, painted in blue, yellow, iron-red and manganese with a cockerel flanked by sponged trees, the second painted in manganese and blue with a parrot perched in foliage within a stylised blue leaf border (the first with small rim chips, the second with minor rim wear)
The first 7 7/8 in. (20 cm.); the second 9 1/8 in. (23.2 cm.) diam. (2)
