注: 徐德英，莆田城關北關人。父徐延龍為明嘉靖間徽州同知，其姐玉英、淑英，皆能詩善文。德英婚配莆田澄渚俞某，俞某乃是貴州布政使俞維異之孫，不知學，是浪蕩子弟。徐氏著作甚多，有《革除集》、《女誡雜論》、《燃脂集》等等。後徐氏卒，其子取其稿焚去，僅存批點二十一史的《悼志賦》一首，還有《梁鴻王凝妻詣贊》及《讀〈離騷〉》和六朝、隋唐史論數十篇。

Xu Deying, who was born in Putian city in Fujian, was the daughter of Xu Yanlong of the Jiajing period (1522-1567). According to historical records, while her two sisters are recorded as having been capable poets and authors, her husband Yu Mou did not value scholarship, even though he was from a family of officials. Xu authored many essays and poems, but later her son burned most of them.
