A very similar portrait of a Mughal prince wearing partially transparent jama over striped trousers, attributed to the artist Hunhar and dated to circa 1650-1660, is in the India Office Library (Toby Falk and Mildred Archer, Indian Miniatures in the India Office Library, London, 1981, no. 93, p. 406).
