The first watch, Ref. 1806 with black dial, with Rolex original fitted brown presentation box with outer packaging, period literature in Italian, handkerchief and an additional silvered dial for a Day-Date watch.

The second watch, Ref. 1803 with silvered dial, with Rolex original fitted brown presentation box, instructions and product literature in Italian, as well as a handkerchief and an additional champagne-coloured Day-Date dial.

The Rolex Day-Date references 1803 and 1806 both made their debut in the early 1960s, with the former remaining in production until the late 1970s. The type of milling used for the bezel of the reference 1803 is often referred to as "reeded", while the finish of the reference 1806 is known as "Tuscan".

For more detailed descriptions and illustrations of both references see 100 Years of Rolex by Franca and Guido Mondani, pp. 98-100.
