A WHITE JADE RUYI SCEPTRE

The sceptre has a characteristic ruyi-shaped head carved with a large centralised shou character surrounded by three Buddhist emblems. The long curved handle is carved with a shaped medallion enclosing two further Buddhist emblems. The stone is of an even pale tone.
16 1/8 in. (41 cm.) long, perspex stand.
