It is decorated with four medallions enclosing peony, chrysanthemum and lingzhi fungus within a gilt border in reserve on a lemon-yellow sgraffito ground embellished with peach sprays and wan symbols above crashing waves. The interior is decorated in underglaze blue with peonies, rocks, wan symbols and lingzhi fungus. The base has an apocryphal Jiaqing underglaze blue six-character mark.
