There are three Dautels listed in Tardy's Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français, Paris: Claude-Aimé-François Dautel who was working in Paris on Rue de Bucy, another who worked in Paris from 1785-1825, and a third working from Rue de Thionville from 1800-1810 and then in Place Dauphine from 1820.
