The god of wine nude but for a mantle pinned at his right shoulder, and high-laced boots, a wreath of vines and berries in his hair, standing with his weight on his straight right leg, stepping forward with his left leg, his arched back and his extended stomach emphasizing his instability, his right arm bent and raised, holding a downturned empty rhyton in his fisted hand, his thumb pointed downward, gazing down at the satyr Ampelos, supporting him, with his left arm around the satyr's shoulder, the satyr staring up at him, bracing his companion, wearing an stippled pelt tied around his waist
