Accompanied by a Panerai Registration and Service booklet containing a Certificate of Conformity dated October 1st, 1993, and Warranty dated April 4th, 1995. Further accompanied by a Panerai mahogany box with silvered Panerai plaque on the front, screw driver, original black strap and buckle, and original blue outer packaging.

The present watch features a "non-matching dial", also known as a "non-matching logo", so named because the hands and numerals are different colors. At the time of production, the dials were treated with a varnish that "attacked" the tritium very quickly, turning the color of the numerals to an brownish-orange color, which did not match the light color of the hands. After this realization, Panerai changed the varnish for other dials, so examples with this "non-matching" color of the numerals and hands are very rare.

With the acquisition of Panerai by the Vendôme Luxury Group, now Richemont Group, in 1997, several details of the watches produced thereafter were modified, most notably the "OP" logo. Early models from the period before Panerai was acquired are highly coveted collector's pieces.
