After Teniers, gourd-form, on four lion's-mask and paw feet, the body decorated overall with village scenes, the curved bird's-mask spout with foliate and mask join, the hinged and domed cover with conforming decoration and border of foliage, flowers and shells, the associated finial modeled as a Turkish figure reclining on a coffee plant, with wood scroll handle, the body engraved underneath with a coat-of-arms and the monogram R.H. AD 1829, marked under base, cover, on figure and nut, the calyx apparently unmarked
