A RARE BLUE AND WHITE DRAGON BOWL
YUAN DYNASTY (1271-1368)
The bowl is painted on the interior with a single three-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl within a double-line medallion, below a band of classic scrolls within double-line borders below the interior mouth rim. The exterior is similarly decorated with a band of scrolling lotus blooms on an undulating vine above a lappet bands encircling the low flared foot ring.
