etching, 1652, on laid paper, watermark Foolscap (G. 21), the paper with a golden tint, as described by Godefroy, a fine impression of the rare sixth state (of nine), trimmed to or just within the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the subject, a tiny paper loss at the left sheet edge outside the borderline, some very minor pinpoint foxing, otherwise in good condition
